Plan International België werkt al meer dan 35 jaar aan een wereld die rechtvaardig en veilig is voor alle kinderen. Alle kinderen hebben recht op onderwijs en kansen. Die rechtvaardigheid begint bij dezelfde kansen voor meisjes en jongens. Meisjes worden nog te vaak achtergesteld en gediscrimineerd, soms zelfs bedreigd en mishandeld.
Plan International België maakt deel uit van een ambitieuze internationale federatie met projecten in bijna 80 landen (waaronder België). Met onze projecten genereren we impact, via beleidsbeïnvloeding, sensibilisering en projecten met en voor kinderen en jongeren.
Plan International België is een sterk groeiende organisatie. Tijdens de laatste 5 jaar steeg ons inkomen van 14 miljoen naar 20 miljoen en groeiden we van 40 naar zo'n 65 zeer gedreven collega's.
Om de straffe ambities van Plan International België nog sterker te vertalen naar een betere toekomst voor kinderen en jongeren, zijn we op zoek naar een enthousiaste en vaardige Director Finance & Organisation.
**Jouw rol als Finance & Organisation Director**:
Je belangrijkste taak is het coördineren en toezicht houden op de Finance & Administration van Plan International België teneinde een performant, coherent en transparant kader te garanderen voor het beheer van fondsen uit diverse financieringsbronnen die onderworpen zijn aan specifieke regelgevingen en rapportageverplichtingen.
Je werkt betrouwbare en efficiënte procedures en systemen uit om de diverse afdelingen van de organisatie te ondersteunen in planning, budgetisering en uitvoering van interne controle. Je staat in voor het verder uitwerken en implementeren van een procurement beleid en contractbeheer.
Bijkomende verantwoordelijkheden binnen de afdeling betreffen het overzien van de payroll, naleving van regelgeving (compliance), gebouw
- en faciliteitenbeheer en ICT.
Je ben verantwoordelijk voor de financiële rapportage naar de institutionele donoren, het internationale secretariaat van Plan International en de Raad van Bestuur van Plan International België.
Als Director beschik je over zeer goede people management skills, met een sterke focus op mensen en cultuur door middel van strategische resourcing, ontwikkeling van talenten en een coachende aanpak. Je zorgt ervoor dat medewerkers op alle niveaus zich gemachtigd en ondersteund voelen om op hun best te presteren binnen een positieve en stimulerende werkomgeving, en trots zijn op het werk dat ze leveren.
Je bent een rolmodel voor op waarden gebaseerd leiderschap en samenwerking. Je verdedigt de waarden van de organisatie, zowel intern als extern.
Je hebt ervaring in het uittekenen van een strategische koers en het implementeren ervan op inspirerende wijze. Budgetten en monitoring van ROI schrikken je niet af, zij maken vast onderdeel uit van je analyse en aanpak.
Als lid van het directiecomité van Plan International België zet je mee de koers uit voor de hele organisatie en kan je departement-overstijgende belangen identificeren en behartigen.
Binnen de internationale federatie leg je contacten met je peers wereldwijd en identificeer mogelijkheden tot samenwerking en future proof werken.
**Jouw profiel**:
**Opleiding, kennis, ervaring en talenten**
- Je behaalde een Master in economie, finance of business management. Of je competenties zijn gelijkwaardig door jouw ervaring.
- Je hebt 8 à 10 jaar relevante ervaring, waarvan 6 jaar in een leidinggevende functie.
- Je hebt diepgaand inzicht in, grondige kennis van en praktische ervaring met de vereisten en voorschriften van institutionele donoren zoals de DGD en de Europese Unie.
- Je hebt een stevige ervaring in interne en externe audits.
- Je beheerst de Belgische principes en regels op het vlak van boekhouding en fiscaliteit.
- Je kan een analytisch boekhoudplan uittekenen en beheren, rekening houdend met interne en externe vereisten.
- Kennis van sociale regelgeving is een meerwaarde.
- Je kan vlot overweg met diverse software packages, vooral MS Office, maar ook CRM software packages.
- Je kan systemen en instrumenten uitwerken om afdelingen in de organisatie te ondersteunen en te begeleiden bij het opmaken van budgetten, planning en financieel beheer.
- Je communiceert vlot en begrijpelijk, zowel naar een financieel publiek toe als naar een niet-financieel publiek.
- Je combineert een scherp oog voor detail met een breed analytisch inzicht en strategisch vermogen.
- Je beschikt over zeer goede People management skills en hebt hierin de nodige ervaring opgebouwd.
- Transparantie is voor jou een vanzelfsprekendheid.
- Je beschikt tevens over zeer goede Change management skills en hebt de nodige ervaring in het implementeren van veranderingen op succesvolle wijze.
- Je hebt een zeer goede kennis van Nederlands, Frans en Engels (alle internationale reportings zijn in het Engels).
- Terreinervaring (in partnerlanden) is een meerwaarde.
