To support a large project for a client in Brussels we are searching for an experienced
PROJECT COORDINATOR.
The project currently progresses in the tender stage, which will be followed by the detailed design and engineering phase and subsequently the onshore construction phase:
As part of the
team:
- You are a safety leader, continuously looking for safety enhancements
- You ensure timely delivery as well as quality and safety of your assigned tasks
- You seek out design opportunities to bring additional benefit to the project
- You report proactively and regularly regarding status and progress of your responsibilities
- You can independently manage and implement specific work packages and engage with relevant contractors, suppliers and internal experts where required.
As a Project Coordinator:
- You are part of the "HVDC System & Onshore Substation" Package team and report to the "HVDC System & Onshore Substation" Package Manager
- You work in a multidisciplinary team of Project Leaders, Project Engineers, Experts, Procurement officer, HSE advisors, PMO officer,
- You will assist the Package Manager in
- managing the EPCI Contract for the delivery of the DC System and Onshore Substation;
- evaluating Project performance against key performance indicators and making recommendation for improvements;
- ensuring everyone is aligned and working towards Project objectives and in accordance with the internal management plans;
- supporting the organization of the Package Meetings, providing updates, capturing action items and next steps and addressing Team questions;
- managing internal change requests;
- collecting the inputs from the Team for the contractual-related items (e.g., Variation Requests)
- collecting the inputs from the Team for the costs management of the Package;
- facilitating onboarding of newcomers.
- You will coordinate with the Team to
- ascertain that all the requirements of the Employer's Requirements and Technical Standards have been implemented, verified and validated;
- You will coordinate within the Team the
- cross-discipline review of project management-related documents produced by the Contractor (e.g., Master Document Register);
- the Interface-related topics, with goal to achieving timely and effective resolution of open items and issues;
- identification, assessment and mitigation of the risks.
- You will contribute to the development and improvement of project management processes, tools and templates to enhance functioning of the Package.
- You have a Master's degree;
- You are highly motivated to work in a team and cooperate with others
- You are an excellent communicator (verbally, written, strong listener,)
- You are organized and results oriented;
- You are assertive and good at facilitating consensus;
- You are able to work under pressure;
- You are a quick learner;
- You are driven by innovative entrepreneurship and not deterred by challenges;

- You can prioritise and act accordingly;
- You can work in an international project environment;
- Fluent in English (oral & writing), Dutch and/or French are a plus
