As part of its mission to support and coach Project Managers (PMs), our client's Corporate PMO is seeking a talented individual to fulfill the following responsibilities:
Provide operational support to PMs:
- Assist PMs with process and tools utilization, specifically utilizing the Planview PPM tool.
- Offer guidance and support on project management best practices.
- Collaborate with PMs to establish a robust Knowledge Management system.
- Ensure the effective organization, storage, and accessibility of projectrelated information.
- Utilize Microsoft tools, including Teams addins, for Knowledge Management purposes.
Organize the Project Management Community:
- Facilitate the establishment and engagement of a Project Management Community.
- Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practice exchange among PMs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare monthly Portfolio Boards using available reporting tools such as Planview or adhoc reports.
- Compile necessary information and analysis to support decisionmaking processes, such as Gating decisions.
- Update the Y+1 roadmap to reflect the current status and progress of improvement initiatives.
This position operates within a Project Management context, utilizing processes specific to our client (inspired by Prince2) and a standard PPM tool (Planview).
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in utilizing PPM tools, particularly Planview.
- Experience in implementing and managing Knowledge Management systems.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft tools, including Teams and related addins.
