Role Overview

We are looking for:

  • A trainee to support the team to be successful in the delivery of our project roadmap
  • Supply Chain Excellence team is part of a Corporate Center at Solvay driving a number of groupwide transformation projects related to Supply Chain process and steering performance management of the group. The team focuses on a group of GBUs driven by innovation, high customer intimacy in order to be able to deliver above market growth from its positioning around sustainability trends.
  • The team supports Solvay's ambition to adopt best in class tools in Supply Chain operations, implement strategic projects across all GBU's and leverage its expertise in Logistics to ensure serving, at best, our customers.
  • The team also ensures realization of Solvay transformation objectives by maintaining an integrated view of all the transformation projects and proactively addressing risks with: Transparency and insights (analytics), Benchmark and expertise, Transversal project management

We count on you for:

  • Perform advanced analytics on ways of working, participate in gap assessment and in elaborate action plan. All activities to be carried by working closely with different stakeholders (Supply Chain operations, IT support, project management)
  • Participation to project management meetings, and assist in specific activities to ensure adoption of new tools & processes

You will bring:

  • Currently studying or recently completed a Master degree, ideally in Science / Engineering related fields
  • Motivated to learn methods, process and digital tools are also a plus
  • Data science and data analytics training, affinity with large set of data handling is a plus
  • Interest and trainings in Supply Chain is a plus.
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency using Google Sheets and Google Slides (or Microsoft Office)
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to challenge & synthesize key insights
