Role and Responsibilities
- You are responsible for transporting various products, loading and unloading goods at warehouses or directly at customer locations. You also ensure the goods' conformity and communicate any discrepancies to the dispatchers. Additionally, you may be required to handle containers at the docks.
- You will be guided by office colleagues through an onboard computer in the truck. It's essential to maintain the cleanliness of the truck.
- You must possess a CE driver's license and have experience driving in the Antwerp port area. You should be familiar with driving trucks and enjoy being on the road. Assisting customers, suppliers, warehouse staff, and dock workers should be something you find fulfilling.
- A hands-on mentality, good communication skills, independence, and reliability are essential qualities. Flexibility and adherence to rules are part of your nature. Being able to drive various types of vehicles like containers, bulk carriers, or refrigerated trucks is a significant advantage.
- You should be proficient in either Dutch or English.
