You will make an impact in the following way:

  • You design MPLS networks based on customer requirements and translate them into a high-level conceptual network designs and solutions
  • Collaborate with Customer Solution Managers, Service Engineers, and R&D Engineers
  • Define improvements needed in the future development of our products
  • Take ownership when it comes to defining the appropriate MPLS network for our customers
  • Find network solutions in combining latest technology with legacy interfaces

What you will bring:

  • Education
  • Master of Engineering or equal by experience


 Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunication


 Networking
  • Broad expertise in MPLS, Ethernet (VLAN, Spanning tree, IGMP) and IP (OSPF, PIM, VRRP)
  • Further preferred areas of expertise
  • QOS mechanisms, VoIP (SIP, RTP), legacy interfaces (E1, T1, 2/4 wire, E&M, serial interfaces, FXS/FXO) and synchronization mechanisms (Sync-E, IEEE1588)


 Personality
  • Analytical mind who likes to take ownership in defining the right solutions for our customers and who is persuasive and influential towards internal stakeholders and customers through competence and great communication


 Language proficiency
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) and, preferably, Dutch
