RESPONSABILITIES

  • The marketing supervisor leads the competitive intelligence efforts that inform strategic decisionmaking by providing insights into the market, competitors and customers. He/she is responsible for strategic data and information capture, trend and scenario analysis, and other business analytics.
  • The marketing supervisor identifies new business opportunities to support the region marketing and sales objectives via lead campaigns and other marketing initiatives

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

Market/Competitive Intelligence

  • Develop and maintain tools and processes for capturing competitive and market intelligence.
  • Close followup on market and industry trends, competitors' moves and customers' needs.
  • Analyses and interprets market data to determine/develop: product positioning statements, value propositions and overall increase UPS's competitive edge.
  • Present market and competitive insights to senior management with recommendations on future initiatives

Opportunity Management

  • Identify new business opportunities to support the region marketing and sales objectives
  • Monitor the quality of sales leads and develop strategies, tactics and training to improve it
  • Manages the lead generation process, identify gaps in the process and work on closing them
  • Work with the local marketing teams to integrate lead campaigns into other marketing initiatives
  • Measures, analyses, and reports feedback on leads initiatives

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE

Skills

  • Advanced analytical skills and proven experience in data management
  • Proficient with advanced data analytics tools, such as Excel, SQL, PowerBI, Tableau and Access.
  • Good communication skills able to present and defend proposals in front of the management team
  • Able to work crossfunctionally in a teamoriented environment
  • Problemsolving attitude with a resultoriented focus
  • Proactive, innovative, and adaptable to new challenges, directions and activities
  • At least 4 years of professional experience

Education

  • University degree preferable in Business, Engineering or Computer Sciences
  • Master degree preferred
