We are actively looking for a GL Accountant for one of our clients active in the logistics industry and located in the Flemish Brabant.

This international leading company is constantly growing and only counts hard-working collaborators that are implicated in the project. As a GL Accountant, you will join a team of 3 people and occupy a position only focused on analytical tasks.

You will quickly become an expert in your field Your knowledge, ideas and initiatives will be appreciated and encouraged in the implementation and improvement of projects and procedures.


Function:

  • Preparation & control the monthly and annual closings
  • Reconciliate the balance sheet and income statements
  • Establish financial reporting
  • Timely processing of incoming invoices and transactions
  • Prepare and followup of tax returns/VAT returns
  • Perform periodic internal audits
  • Actively participate in the optimization of the existing accounting & administrative procedures and identify new area of improvement

Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • At least 2 years of experience in general accounting
  • Fluent in French and good knowledge of English. Some good notions of Dutch are a plus
  • You are able to take over and prioritize your responsibilities while meeting deadlines
  • You are independent, handson and proactive
