Sustainability Coördinator

We are looking for a new colleague in the sustainability team.

What will you do

- Participate in the implementation of the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS)
- Maintain and monitor sustainability targets related to energy, carbon footprint, water, waste, etc.
- Collect and analyze data on sustainability topics
- Maintain sustainable forest management (FSC) by preparing internal and external audits and organizing them. Cooperate in the FSC implementation blockchain due diligence system
- Implement the Regulation on deforestation-free products (EUDR)
- Take the lead on ESG Certification matters: CDP, EcoVadis, Sedex and UN GC
- Work closely with the procurement department on the supply chain standard (suppliers risk assessment and engagement program (EU CSDDD))
- Contribute to the sustainability report
- Provide support on sustainability topics to various internal departments (HSEQ, Sales, ...)
- Report to our sustainability manager

Who are we looking for

- A Masters degree (engineering, economics, biology, forest management, environmental, ...) is preferable but not mandatory
- Several years of relevant experience is required
- Possess an analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and Excel
- Excellent English skills, good knowledge of Dutch. Proficiency in any other language is an advantage
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel within Europe (approximately 5 trips per year)
