Deployment Planner

About the job

The European Deployment Planner is the central point of contact between the supply point (own factories and 3PM), the receiving network nodes (selling Commercial Business Unit or platform level) and any central services (MPS planning, Activity Management, Logistics, Quality, Network Admin, ).

Your responsibilities:

• As a Deployment Planner, you ensure an optimal distribution of the produced products to different European markets
• You create the plan based on the actual demand, the actual stock position, the desired safety stock levels, but also taking in account the transportation and in/outbound limitations
• You will be working with our planning system OMP for which you will guard that all settings and master data are kept uptodate, you make adjustments when necessary
• You report and communicate accurately and proactively about the stock availability in the different markets and will be in contact with various stakeholders inside the organization (customer service, production, quality, logistics, New Product Introductions/New Product Developments,)
• You are responsible for the followup of internal sales orders where applicable
• Your main focus is on the short term horizon, yet you contribute to the midterm plan as well
• You embrace continuous improvement and highlight potential improvements in the process
• Regarding deployment planning (warehouse stockage projections, in/outbound activity,), you provide the organization with necesssary insights and reports
• You will be closely involved in various projects, for example with changes in the logistics network
• You take care of the associated administration

About you
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role:

• Preferably, you hold a master degree with a first experience
• You have a proactive, customeroriented mindset, you are not afraid to take ownership and initiative
• A first supply planning expertise is a strong advantage
• You are structured and analytical
• You work accurately and are stress resistant
• Experience with SAP and a supply planning software (e.g. OMP) is an asset
• You know your way in Excel and other reporting tools
• You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in Dutch and English
