Our partner in Huizingen is actively looking for an Procurement Specialist to join its team.

What are your responsibilities ?

  • You are
    responsible for procurement for Belgium and Luxembourg, for a purchasing volume of 35 million euros per year.
  • You
    put a sourcing strategy in place, you
    negotiate with suppliers,
  • You
    ensure the governance, implementation and alignment of procurement processes and policies in Belgium and Luxembourg.
  • You
    organize and carry out supplier assessments for your commodities.
  • You
    monitor and improve achievements via KPIs.
  • You
    monitor compliance and adherence to purchasing control procedures as well as reporting.
  • You
    drive digitalization, sustainability
    & value creation in your area of responsibility.

Who are you ?

A bachelor's degree in a technical field:


  • A first professional experience, preferably in an industrial environment is a plus but not necessary

Excellent knowledge of Dutch and French:

  • A strong interest in in-depth technical knowledge of materials used in the industrial sector (petrochemicals, piping, boiler making)
  • Critical thinking, logical vision,and rigor/precision in your work
  • Proactivity and ability to solve problems and find solutions
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus but not necessary.
