Liège - Contracting (CDI) - Proposal EngineerFor a client specialized in the industry, HRSG, and boilers sector, we are seeking a Proposal Engineer.Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow all ISO processes and procedures, collaborate with Sales Managers to sell products and services by leveraging technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to develop technical proposals.
  • Develop innovative solutions upon receiving Request for Quotation, lead negotiations with customers to identify technical requirements, and close contracts.
  • Achieve Sales and Technical targets while adhering to corporate guidelines.
Sales Contacts:
  • Assist Sales Managers in preparing presentations, qualification documents, and sales materials for potential customers.
  • Stay updated with market research, suggest product improvements, evaluate marketability of products and services.
  • Promote the Group to potential customers and internally to employees, customers, and suppliers.
Sales Process:
  • The Proposal Engineer collaborates with a Sales Manager to develop quotations for HRSG and OTB projects.
  • Analyze technical specifications, prepare technical offers, manage bid preparation, validate costs, assure proposal quality, and provide general assistance for consistent proposal execution.
  • Support Sales Manager in meeting proposal schedules and workflows efficiently, coordinate resources to develop proposals aligning with customer needs and Company standards.
  • Profile:
  • Master's degree in Engineering.
  • 3+ years' experience in a mechanical-related industry, preferably 5+ years in capital goods projects within the energy sector.
  • Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and process drawings, excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, problem solver, fluent in English, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
