Bij nexuzhealth, met kantoren in Hasselt, Leuven, Gent en Antwerpen, maak je de toekomst van de gezondheidszorg mogelijk. Wij zijn toonaangevend in digitale platformen voor medische zorg en elektronische patiëntendossiers via ons Klinisch Werkstation (KWS). Maar onze ambitie reikt verder. We ontwikkelen ook geavanceerde software voor huisartsen en thuisverpleegkundigen met behulp van de nieuwste technologieën, zoals Go (Golang), Angular, Flutter en Cloud Spanner. Ons doel? Een community van gebruikers in diverse zorgsectoren en patiënten ondersteunen in hun werk en samenwerking. Al deze platformen en elektronische patiëntendossiers genereren een grote stroom aan data. Het onderhoud van de bestaande toepassingen en de nieuwe ontwikkelingen worden volledig in huis uitgevoerd door een groot team van developers die een ruime technologie stack gebruiken van Java en Go, SQL en Cloud Spanner, Swing en Angular via fat, mobile en Kubernetes omgevingen. Binnen dit development team is het data team gespecialiseerd in het inzichtelijk maken van de data over de verschillende functionele domeinen heen. Hiervoor ontwikkelen ze zowel algemene oplossingen voor data extractie en rapportering als antwoorden op specifieke onderzoeksvragen.

Je ontwikkelt de extracties die dagelijkse vragen van zorgverleners en onderzoekers beantwoorden. Dit doe je zowel door een goede kennis van SQL maar ook door het verder verwerken van resultaten via Java en client code. Je zet mee algemene rapporteringsomgevingen en -tools op om de databronnen breed te ontsluiten. Dit doe je zowel met bestaande on premise oplossingen zoals Sybase ASE en Microsoft SQL Server. Je analyseert en beoordeelt mee de binnenkomende projectaanvragen naar de technische haalbaarheid, functionele volledigheid alsook de bijhorende planning en roadmap. Je documenteert zowel de technische omgeving voor collega's en externe developers als de gebruikershandleidingen. Je deelt je kennis actief en je werkt mee aan de continue verbetering van de werking van het data team.

Wat breng jij mee?

Een passie voor development en het ontsluiten en inzichtelijk maken van data. Je bent nauwgezet en hebt een scherp oog voor details. Je kan meedenken met de eindgebruiker, anticiperen op de bijkomende vragen die men stelt en je resultaten toetsen aan de verwachtingen. Kwalitatieve en goed leesbare code schrijven is voor jou geen probleem, en je doet aan refactoring waar nodig. Uitstekende kennis van SQL, Java en OO design, inclusief design patterns. Ervaring met applicatie-integratie en uitstekende competenties op vlak van relationele databases zijn essentieel. Ervaring met of kennis van FHIR is een pluspunt. Je kan zelfstandig werken maar verliest daarbij de kennisoverdracht en teamwork niet uit het oog. Vloeiend in het Nederlands en goede beheersing van het Engels.
