We are looking for a Category Sourcing Manager to lead our indirect sourcing activities in Logistics like road freight, ocean freight, warehousing and pallets.

You will work in a project mode with colleagues from logistics within integrated supply and customer service department in Paulig.

You systematically drive efficiency and cost savings and further build on the way-of-working in the area of indirect sourcing.

You will be based in Roeselare, Belgium preferably, our other locations in Berga (Spain), Mölndal (Sweden) or Helsinki (Finland) could be an option.

You will report to the Head of Indirect Sourcing, and be part of a great team of people based in our locations across Europe - Finland, Belgium, Sweden, Spain and Estonia.


What you will do:

  • Develop and implement indirect category strategies and plans, together with the stakeholders within Paulig's logistics organization.
  • Ensure that the products and services are always sourced at best competitive conditions, based on given specifications, at high and stable service level.
  • Identify and implement costsaving opportunities.
  • Negotiate, implement, and evaluate agreements including price, terms of payment and lead time.
  • Comprehensive management of supplier relationships, including selection, execution, data management, contracting, risk management, development, and quality & sustainability
  • Monitor & benchmark market trends and best practices.

What we expect:

  • To be successful in this role you need 8+ years of strong logistics sourcing experience in a relevant industry and proven track record of managing a complex indirect sourcing category and driving for synergies and savings
  • University degree in relevant field, such as supply chain management, engineering or business
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong ability to build strategic partnerships, excellent negotiation and problemsolving skills, ability to work with continuous improvement, and sustainability mindset
  • Strong project management and leaderships skills
  • Inspiring, innovative and result oriented approach and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders
