Responsibilities:

• Project Management and Engineering
• Responsible for the management and execution of strategical and technical projects: Lead selected projects and ensure project management quality standards for all technical projects in the region
• Responsible for the region to plan and execute a roadmap for the systematic replacement of old production equipment and utilities
• Coordinate and organize the different engineering activities according to the priorities and skills of each and the needs of the internal or external customers in order to offer an effective and efficient service meeting the quality requirements of the organization within the given deadlines
• Keep uptodate with developments in the field of engineering to constantly improve the value of service that is based on uptodate knowledge
• Buildup Regional Engineering Structure
• Buildup and develop the regional engineering organization by defining responsibilities between regional engineering, local engineering and maintenance in the sites to ensure longterm succession strength as well as teamwork, based on the Freudenberg Values and Guiding Principles and the Guidelines of Leadership & Teamwork
• Buildup strategic partners and key suppliers for project and support
• Provide support and knowledge transfer for local maintenance in topics of expertise
• Act as regional counterpart for Global Engineering
• Technical Planning and Capex
• Develop and maintain guidelines, systems, quality standards and procedures for the proper functioning of the investment processes in the region
• Ensure adherence to those guidelines, systems, quality standards, procedures and budget to achieve the objectives
• Create and update site masterplans for all sites in regions to support investment planning

Qualifications:

• Technical degree (Bachelor & Master)
• Several years in Engineering, profound technical background (mechanical, electrical, automation) and experience with bigger engineering projects and coordination of external suppliers and service providers
• Profound project management experience and skills; strong organizational skills: able to handle multiple tasks and meet established deadlines
• Team leadership and working in a matrix organization
• Negotiations experience
• IT affinity
• Fluent in English
