About the role:
As a member of the Business Excellence department, you will:
- Build own expertise in Opérational Excellence (Lean, SixSigma).
- Drive the Operational Excelllence program at site/function, supporting business improvements and engaging all employees.
- Be a strong advocate of Lean / 6sigma methodology at site/function.
How you will contribute:
As Lean Six Sigma Expert you will lead and support the development of key aspects of the continuous improvement program approach, methods and tools.
As an expert in the area of continuous improvement and six sigma methodologies, your responsibilities include the oversight and employment of the Lean and six sigma methods and tools within various practice areas and business units.
The Lean Six Sigma Expert will also be responsible for continuously improving the processes and overall program by capturing lessons learned, incorporating best practices and maturing continuous improvement.
- Challenge stakeholders to maximize opportunities from process improvement initiatives.
- Lead initiatives in a cross functional and diverse environment.
- Facilitate groups through process mapping, root cause analysis, brainstorming, business impact assessments, gap analysis and project planning.
- Partner with technology experts (internal and external as needed) to align processes and systems.
- Develop, monitor, and report business process improvement against accepted standards.
- Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Understanding of lean methodologies & tool.
- Project Management capabilities.
- Organizational, planning and analytical skills.
- Good communications and presentation skills.
- Develop business acumen through working with Business Excellence lead on business cases for AGILE program.
- Develop expertise in problems solving both simple and complex to enable development of others.
- Interacts with all levels of the organisation and collaborates strongly with other AGILE Lead/coaches/ Champions.
- Develops strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Takeda network.
- Capable of connecting workstream activities to maximise AGILE impact.
- Shares openly and learns from others.
- Capable of operating across company culture.
What you bring to Takeda:
- Master/Engineer's degree in related fields: pharmaceutical engineering, chemical engineering, or industrial engineering.
- Comfortable networking and connecting people.
- You are an agile learner with proven abilites to put theory into practice.
- Strong facilitation and organisation abilities.
- Excellent listening capabilites.
- Customer centric attitude is mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills.
- Strong consultative, analytical and problem solving skills.
