**Expertisenetwerk Communicatie, Media en Design**:
Je gaat aan de slag binnen het expertisenetwerk Communicatie, Media en Design. Dit expertisenetwerk is een referentie in bachelor
- en graduaatsopleidingen, levenslang leren (postgraduaten en bijscholingen) en onderzoek in het studiegebied van communicatie, journalistiek en grafische en digitale media. Je wil graag jouw passie voor de razendsnel evoluerende trends en technologieën binnen deze wereld delen.
Je werkplek zal zich voornamelijk situeren situeren op Campus Leeuwstraat | Arteveldehogeschool Gent. Functie
- Je geeft les in het Engels in de Bachelor International Journalism in de opleidingsonderdelen 'Introduction to Journalism and Media' en 'Journalism Creators Lab'.
- Je coacht studenten in de ontwikkeling van hun werkstukken: van research, over teksten schrijven tot de vertaling naar diverse mediaplatformen.
- Je bouwt mee aan het curriculum. Je geeft les, evalueert en kadert je les in het opleidingsprogramma.
- Je werkt samen in een team van docenten en gaat met hen regelmatig in overleg. Profiel
- Een bachelor
- of masterdiploma journalistiek, mediastudies of een nauw verwant vakgebied.
- Aantoonbare sterke expertise en professionele ervaring in internationale media als ondernemend journalist
- Sterke kennis van journalistieke ethiek, deontologie; nieuwsschrijven, reportagetechniek en mediarecht.
- Vaardigheid in digitale mediatools en -platformen die veel worden gebruikt in de journalistiek, zoals contentmanagementsystemen, videobewerkingssoftware, sociale mediaplatformen, enz.
- Ervaring met lesgeven in een instelling voor hoger onderwijs is wenselijk.
- Uitstekende communicatieve en interpersoonlijke vaardigheden, met het vermogen om studenten met verschillende achtergronden te betrekken en te inspireren.
- Een verbintenis om een inclusieve en ondersteunende leeromgeving te bevorderen.
- Sterke organisatorische en tijdmanagementvaardigheden om meerdere taken en deadlines effectief te beheren.
- In het bezit van een erkend certificaat voor kennisniveau C1 Engels (volgens ERK) of bereid dit te behalen. Aanbod
Jouw salarisschaal ligt als bachelor op barema 316 (praktijklector). Als master ligt dit op barema 502 (= lector).
**Statuut**: statutair Ad Interim OP (onderwijzend personeel).
Opdrachtpercentage van 10%.
Aanstelling van 01/09/2023 tot 31/08/2024. Bij gunstige evaluatie is er kans dat de functie verlengd wordt. Deze functie kan eventueel in de toekomst in aanmerking komen voor omzetting naar statutair vacante uren of benoeming, volgens de geldende interne procedures.
