For our client in the logistics sector, located in the heart of Brussels, we are looking for a motivated GL Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage multiple subsidiaries (excluding transactional aspects) and oversee key sections.
  • Ensure the accuracy of monthly results and assist external auditors.
  • Create statutory annual accounts.
  • Master ERP tools and develop BI reports.
  • Handle quarterly update testing and revaluation processes.

PROFILE

  • Passionate about accounting with at least a Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting.
  • Knowledge of BGAAP standards, willing to learn IFRS.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficient in French or Dutch, with good knowledge of the second language and English.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup functions).

TEAM

  • Work with a team of about ten accountants.
  • Report directly to the Accounting & Controlling Manager.
  • Collaborative and solutionoriented work environment.
