Job Description

Cultuurloket vzw provides business support to the cultural sector. Cultuurloket is a knowledge center and learning network where learning, advising, innovating, and inspiring about entrepreneurship in culture are central. We encourage and support sustainable cultural entrepreneurship and professionalization in the Flemish cultural sector. Cultuurloket is looking for an office assistant (m/f/x) to support the day-to-day operations.

What does the job involve? As an office assistant, you are the point of contact in the organization for all employees regarding personnel matters and logistics. Your direct supervisor is the coordinator for personnel matters and logistics. You are responsible for the daily tasks and follow-up of employee inquiries regarding, among other things:

  • personnel matters,
  • office equipment & logistics,
  • IT management & digitalization of processes,
  • general administrative tasks such as insurance, GDPR, archiving ...

You support the coordinator for personnel matters and logistics and work with management and team leaders on:

  • personnel administration;
  • salary calculation and fringe benefits (in collaboration with the social secretariat);
  • drafting policy notes and procedures (e.g. regarding hiring and leaving);
  • initiatives related to well-being at work and diversity, inclusion, and equality;
  • planning and reporting;
  • training plans;
  • support for performance and farewell conversations;
  • information on leave and career breaks;
  • ...

Your Profile

  • Preferably a bachelor's degree in Organization & Management or Management Assistant.
  • Experience in administration or excited about gaining first work experience.
  • Social, empathetic, and friendly in interactions.
  • Eager to learn, motivated, and strong communication skills.
  • Service-oriented, proactive, and flexible, with the ability to switch between tasks quickly.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize tasks accurately, efficiently, and purposefully.
  • Proficient in MS Office (including OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams).
  • Fluent in Dutch.

  • A part-time contract (32h/week) for a fixed term (12 months).
