Met behulp van machine learning (ML) genereer je producten die gebaseerd zijn op data en breng je de meest dringende operationele uitdagingen tot een goed einde.

**De job in een notendop**

Je werkt mee aan transversale projecten in het Data Lab in een jong, dynamisch en innoverend team. Op het vlak van IT werkt het Data Lab samen met het team ML Engineering voor het verwezenlijken van de ML end-to-endprojecten.

Je maakt gebruik van diverse soorten data, zowel intern als extern, gestructureerd en niet-gestructureerd, voor het verbeteren van de bestaande use cases en om er nieuwe te lanceren, meer bepaald in het domein van de beleggingen (beleggersklanten, beleggingsproducten, MIFID-regelgeving, portefeuillebeheer enz.)

Je takenpakket is heel gevarieerd:

- Je ontwikkelt/verbetert de prognosemodellen met behulp van statistische technieken en machine learning.
- Je ontwikkelt, analyseert en interpreteert businesshypotheses en je benut datasets.
- Je doet aanbevelingen inzake ideeën aan de business met behulp van voorspellende visualiseringen/algoritmes als er data/resultaten beschikbaar zijn.
- Je verschaft de gebruikers inzicht omtrent de principes inzake data science, en indien nodig geef je toelichting bij de gedragingen van het model en de mogelijke corrigerende acties.
- Je komt specifiek in contact met de afdelingen die te maken hebben met de Invest-wereld (Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Financieel plan) om een duidelijk inzicht te verwerven in de Invest-strategie en om de juiste uitdagingen vorm te geven.

**Jij hoeft geen witte raaf te zijn**

Maar bij ons kan je er een worden. We zijn vooral op zoek naar een straffe persoonlijkheid met een learning mindset.

Bij ons kan je je vleugels ten volle uitslaan als je voldoet aan de volgende voorwaarden:

- Je behaalde een master of een doctoraat in de wetenschappen, met uitstekende universitaire resultaten op technisch vlak (econometrie, computerwetenschappen, artificiële intelligentie enz.)
- Je bent een expert in technieken op het vlak van machine learning en je bent bereid om die kennis voortdurend bij te werken. Een grondige kennis van algoritmes zoals Random Forests, Neural Networks en Reinforcement Learning is een must.
- Je beschikt over degelijke programmeervaardigheden met Python en SQL.
- Je beheerst het Nederlands of het Frans en je hebt een passieve kennis van de andere landstaal en van het Engels.
- Dankzij je verhaaltechnieken en je vaardigheden om gegevens visueel voor te stellen, ben je in staat complexe analyses uit te leggen aan een publiek van leken. Je beschikt over uitstekende schriftelijke en mondelinge communicatievaardigheden op technisch en businessvlak.
- Je bent leergierig, niet alleen om nieuwe algoritmes en technieken onder de knie te krijgen, maar ook op interpersoonlijk vlak. Je bent je zelf ervan bewust dat de waarde van je werk gelijk staat aan kwaliteit en aanvaarding, en je staat er op die twee aspecten te combineren.
- Je hebt een uitzonderlijk probleemoplossend vermogen: je weet dat een duidelijk inzicht in het probleem op zijn minst 90% van de oplossing uitmaakt, je getuigt van creativiteit en hardnekkigheid om de problemen grondig te analyseren en naar oplossingen te zoeken.
- Je wil de bank en de werking ervan leren kennen en je wil ook specifiek achterhalen wat er schuilgaat achter het concept van de Bank For Investors.

Je scoort extra als je voldoet aan de volgende voorwaarden:

- Je bent tweetalig (Nederlands/Frans).
- Je hebt ervaring met de ontwikkeling van dataproducten, van de concept
- tot de productiefase.
- Je bent vertrouwd met de wereld van de beleggingen.
- Je hebt al enige ervaring met Natural Language Processing.
- Je bent vertrouwd met Spark en de libraries/tools voor visualiseringen (zoals Plotly/Dash).
- Je hebt noties van de cloud, bij voorkeur Azure.
