Tasks and Responsibilities

As a Reliability & Maintenance Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of Colruyt Group's machinery. You conduct technical analyses of defects, collaborate with the technical department, and optimize wherever possible. An engaging position for an engineer with a passion for electromechanics and automation.

Your tasks as a Reliability & Maintenance Engineer

• You are the asset manager of your installations. You ensure that the machines operate optimally, make improvement proposals, and keep the technical files up-to-date.
• Based on your expertise, you provide advice for the design of new installations with the aim of guaranteeing technical availability at all times.
• Analysis and reporting of overall equipment effectiveness and total cost of ownership: You strive for cost efficiency. To achieve this, you identify efficiency losses and make proposals for optimization or the purchase of new installations.
• Analysis and reporting of maintenance costs to keep the outlook as sharp as possible. You develop an efficient maintenance strategy and monitor its implementation.
• You perform technical analyses of malfunctions and defects.
• Collaborating with our internal service technicians and project engineers, you work project-based on specific machines and installations. You optimize the performance, technical availability, and energy consumption of existing and new installations. You oversee their daily operation and are the first point of contact for technicians in case of practical issues.

The machine park of Colruyt Group is extensive and varied: production, distribution, digital printing and mailing equipment, ... Together, we will determine which site is most suitable based on your experience and interests. You will work in the Halle - Ghislenghien region.

• Knowledge and experience – You have a master's/bachelor's degree in industrial electromechanical sciences. Additionally, you have 1 to 2 years of experience.
• Technical skills – You have a thorough knowledge of (automated) installations in a production environment and a hands-on mentality.
• Social and communication skills – You are creative, dynamic, and sociable. You enjoy teamwork and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
• Autonomy – You work as part of a team but also have a lot of freedom in the workplace. Nevertheless, you can always rely on the expertise of your team.
• Language skills – You are fluent in French and Dutch or are willing to learn. This way, you can collaborate effectively with all colleagues and partners.
