Our client is a successful
100% Belgian and
family-owned SME in the
chocolate and praline industry. They produce very tasty and high-quality chocolate products for home and abroad.

In addition to private labels, they export authentic Belgian chocolate to more than 100 countries around the world under their own label.

To strengthen the team, we are looking for an
International Key Account Manager for the development of their private labels in the Western Europe region.


About the job:

  • You are responsible for the turnover and profit targets in the Western Europe region.
  • You ensure that the current customer portfolio is retained and expanded.
  • You thoroughly study the market, the competition, price levels, etc. This knowledge helps you draw up, realize and monitor annual budgets.
  • You develop new business together with the team, partners and distributors.
  • Your thorough knowledge of our products and packaging makes you a worthy point of contact for customers.
  • You know exactly what we can do productwise and you succeed in gaining the trust of customers. You negotiate contracts and build longterm relationships with customers.
  • Thanks to your good knowledge of our internal operations, you also succeed in guiding new projects through our organization in an efficient manner.
  • Your knowledge of the FMCG world helps you to make suggestions regarding promotions,that will further increase the rotation of the products.
  • Naturally, you will participate in international fairs
The Area Sales Manager Western Europe reports to the Cluster Lead Western Europe.

  • A bachelor's or master's degree
  • A first experience in a commercially oriented position
  • Experience or at least a very strong interest in the food sector. Chocolate lover of course
  • Experience with
    private label is a requirement
  • Excellent knowledge of the Dutch language, good knowledge of German and English. A bit of French is a nice surplus.
