Within our department Data Management whose mission is the transformation of Athora towards a more data-literate organization, enabling the achievement of operational efficiency gains and safeguarding the trust and transparency of our data assets in a compliant way, we are seeking a Data Management Expert.


His/Her role is to support the deployment and maintenance of the required transversal data governance and play an active role in the implementation of data management initiatives in line with strategy and regulatory environment.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As Data Management Expert, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support in defining data management frameworks, policies and guidelines and providing assistance in shaping the different data management artefacts (Business Glossary, Data Catalogue, ).
  • Supporting employees/functions in carrying out certain data management activities, such as definition & maintenance of data domains documentation, definition of data quality requirements, completion of the report/data catalogue etc.
  • Setting-up knowledge-sharing sessions on management or usage of data within the organization.
  • Creating policies, guidelines, templates,on this topic.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders (incl. the Group).
  • Supporting the Data Management Team in the organization's governance bodies.


YOUR PROFILE- You have a bachelor's/master's degree or equivalent experience (relevant to data management)- You have at least 3 years of experience in data management, data analysis, data science, preferably in the financial sector.- You have a good understanding of data processes and always keep an E2E transversal view.- You have strong interest in data management and data governance topics, especially data quality.- You can deal with change and new trends or technologies.- You have analytical and synthesis skills.- You have excellent communication skills (oral and written) and you like producing and giving trainings within the organization.- You have a very good knowledge of French, English and Dutch.
