NATURE OF TASKS

The tasks involved include:

  • Organization, implementation, and maintenance of Information Systems (IS) support.
  • Coordination of support teams.
  • IS Service management.
  • Coordination with the project teams.
  • Coordination of wiki sites, collaborative sites, or social networks.
  • Followup of service quality.
  • Management and followup of user requests.
  • Guidance regarding the use of information systems.
  • Management of incidents related to information systems; organization of reporting.
  • Conception and organization of user documentation for information systems.
  • Conception and management of IS and ICT trainings.
  • Participation in user, service, and project meetings.
  • Elaboration and implementation of relevant support processes.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION
As stated in Article of DIGIT-TM II Service requirements, the minimum educational qualification for lot 1 is a level of education corresponding to level 6 of the European Qualification Framework, as follows:

  • A bachelor's level or 3 years of higher education.

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE AND TECHNOLOGIES

  • Knowledge in enduser assistance or support of information systems.
  • Knowledge of wiki, collaborative sites, and social networks.
  • Good reporting skills.

KNOWLEDGE AND (NON-TECHNICAL) SKILLS
The necessary knowledge and skills for the performance of the tasks include:

  • Good IT skills.
  • Excellent communication/writing skills.
  • Ability to give presentations.
  • Ability to participate in multilingual meetings, with good communication skills.
  • Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment, rapid selfstarting capability, and experience in working in a team; leadership capability.
  • Able to cope with the needs of multilanguage site deployment.
  • Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid selfstarting capability, and experience in working in a team.
  • Ability to participate in multilingual meetings.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment, on multiple large projects.
  • Excellent Team Player.
  • Ability to understand, speak, and write English (C1), French (C1) will be an advantage.

CERTIFICATION AND/OR STANDARDS

Optional certification:
ITIL foundation certification.
