NTT DATA is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager for a client in the public sector in Brussels.
Context:
As part of a program to modernize Employer Accounts, we need a skilled project manager to take over the management of the "Payment Processing" project for the organization's Collection Department, involving custom development in Java+Angular on an Oracle DB.
This project includes tasks such as retrieving and processing CODA files from banks, automating payments to company accounts, generating payment-related communications, and streamlining interactions with SSAs (social secretariats).
The project has transitioned from business analysis to technical analysis and development, aiming to conclude by the end of 2025, with a set schedule through 2024.
The project team consists of approximately ten members and collaborates with similar teams.
Your role:
We seek a project manager to lead this initiative, defining scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring successful implementation and timely delivery. The ideal candidate should have a background in project management for administrative management solutions.
The project manager will oversee a team of 5 to 10 members, ensuring the project's successful and efficient completion within budget and schedule.
This role includes, among others:
- Collaborating with stakeholders, monitoring project progress, and proposing necessary actions
- Documenting and reporting project status and issues
- Coordinating production launches
- Managing change requests and resource allocation
- Fostering communication, motivation, and teamwork among project participants
- Adhering to scope, budget, and quality standards
- Identifying and addressing risks
- Implementing best practices and maintaining project documentation
- Engaging in capacity management and effective communication
- Guiding and supporting junior team members
- Presenting to clients and senior management
Profile:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Comprehensive business understanding for guiding project objectives
- Budget and scope management skills
- Effective reporting and team supervision abilities
- Supportive approach towards team development
- Risk management and compliance adherence
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience in Prince 2 and team management
- Desirable background in social security or health sector
