Product Introduction Trouble Shooter Technician

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
  • Troubleshooting Alstom products at customer site to ensure availability
  • Provide technical expertise to subcontractors, warranty support team, project team members and less experienced personnel
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Carry out Troubleshooting during PI period, Pre-warranty & Commissioning, Fleet check activities
  • Support operation helpdesk and apply EHS & security rules on customer site
  • Execute test procedures, support field modifications, and recommend actions
  • Contribute to Return of Experience and ensure information flow within Troubleshooting
Performance measurements:
  • Achievement of contractual availability targets
  • Characterization of K1S/K2/K3 issues on time
  • Quality of failure/event diagnosis recorded in Defect Management data base
  • Customer satisfaction of technical expertise
  • Compliance with EHS rules
MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES:
  • Educational Requirements:
    • Certified Technician or Undergraduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics)
    • Minimum IT knowledge
    • Internal EHS training
    • Desirable: Graduate in technical field, Native Dutch and fluent in English
  • Experience:
    • Technical troubleshooting/testing experience (> 10 years for Senior positions)
    • Field Experience (> 10 years for Senior positions)
    • EHS knowledge, product knowledge, self-government
    • Desirable: Railway Safety/Product liability, Engineering knowledge, Customer contact
