Our Client is looking for a temporary filling of the position of
Global Head of FP&A.

The finance position plays a pivotal role in delivering the Division's strategic objectives to grow top and bottom line, and as such become a key growth engine of the group.


This implies that the role requires intense business partnering and strategic analytical capabilities, in addition to leading all the core financial processes such as delivering the monthly consolidated reporting and analysis, quarterly forecast, annual budgeting process, long term strategic planning process, operating plan variance analysis and special projects.


Function description

  • Support the President of the division in providing relevant and insightful financial and economic information to the Group top management, allowing division and Group to take the right strategic decisions driving to sustainable growth and profitability improvement. Provide insightful analysis to the CFO/CEO, Board of Directors and investors.
  • Develop financial models and provide analysis on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support strategic decision making.
  • Analyse financial performance and provide insights to senior leadership to identify opportunities for growth and overall improvements.
  • He/she will have the ownership of the full FP&A cycle and engage proactively with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee the monthly and quarterly financial reporting process.
  • Manage the monthly and quarterly forecasting process to ensure accurate and timely shortterm insight and financial and economical advise to the senior divisional management.
  • As strategic sparring partner to the divisional President, jointly build the yearly budget and long term strategic planning on the relevant financial parameters e.g. revenue, margin, overall profitability, Funnel, Order Intake, Orderbook, working capital, CAPEX,
  • As our client is organised as a matrix organisation, collaborate with all relevant Group members supporting teams to ensure alignment on targets and initiatives driving financial improvement.
  • Coordinates his/her efforts with Corporate Centers of Excellence to identify and mitigate possible financial risks and opportunities for the division (e.g. Tax, Treasury,)
  • Manage a small Financial Planning & Analysis team to support the growth and profitability improvement of the department.
  • Perform at high standards with sustained attention to detail.

Job requirements

  • Master's degree in finance or economics with significant relevant experience in a complex international business environment.
  • Proven experience as Finance Executive in an international group with multiple business units and/or subsidiaries.
  • Thorough understanding of business strategy, needs, processes, and functions.
  • Indepth and best practice knowledge and understanding of the mechanics in the FP&A process streams and how these fit into the endtoend financial process environment.
  • Strong and agile leader with experience gained in highperformance and growing companies.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence decision making.
  • Ability to think independently, synthesize data and make proactive, succinct recommendations to executive leaders.
  • Extremely handson, while able to give a strategic view to the FP&A function.
  • Excellent relationship building skills, able to manage stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Viewed as a business partner, an "enabler" as well as a valuable sparring partner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage under pressure, at a high pace and to deal with challenging stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills; ability to take large volumes of complex information and present in a clear and concise manner to senior management.
  • Outstanding business partnering capabilities. Understands the business needs and supports the definition and implementation of solutions.
  • You are fluent in English (oral and written). Knowledge of German is considered a plus.

Offer

6 Months are initially foreseen for this Interim Management assignment. There is an option to prolong the assignment.

_full-time_

Remote work can potentially be agreed upon with the Group Global FP&A Lead (Maximum 2 days per week home office)
