EU Senior Public Affairs Manager

  • Develop strong relationships with main institutions of EU (The Council of the European Union, The European Commission and European Parliament etc.) to expand our client's thought leadership and influence in ICT industry.
  • Drive and develop strategic communication programs that increase our client's global brand awareness and thought leadership. Work closely with the Public affairs and communications team in Europe and Issue management team in Headquarter (5G, AI, Digital Sovereignty, IOT、Cyber security, Trade facilitation and Market access etc.) to reinforce and execute a high-impact communications program and build up long-term trust with European Union.
  • Represent company in interactions with Think Tank, NGO and industrial
  • Organize and facilitate external high level stakeholder's visits, events and activities to set up a good image of the corporation.
  • At least 6 years demonstrated experience in public affairs with extensive understanding of the operation of main institutions of EU, major think tanks or NGO who have strong influence of ICT industry policy.
  • Strong oral and written skills and ability to work in a fast-paced.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Graduate degree preferred.
  • Strong communication, networking, collaboration and interpersonal skills - ability to build relationships of trust with a wide range of individuals and organizations.
  • Prefer to have experience in issue management, such as Policy to Market, Cyber Security, trade facilitation & market, Corporate Communication etc.
  • Strategic and flexible thinking - ability to multi-task, project management, and handle complex issues, and translate insights into sound analysis and advice to the business.
  • Ability to work across cultures and lead teams of geographically dispersed people.
  • Fluent in English and another EU language.
