A CHALLENGING JOB CONTENT:

  • You will devise efficient and versatile routes within your own chemical area and you contribute to project intellectual property.
  • You will autonomously generate and contribute to the data for a project area, you will analyse and interpret data.
  • You will identify and exploit new technologies to enhance functional capability.
  • You will work effectively within the team and work towards team goals.
  • You will actively contribute to molecule design and lead generation.
  • You will contribute to project teams and share knowledge and experience during meetings.
  • You report to the Chemistry Team Leader.

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You are an early PhD chemist, or an experienced chemistry graduate MChem or BSc, previous experience in agrochemical research is desirable but not essential. Industrial experience working in a research environment within agrochemicals or pharma is desirable.
  • You have advanced organic chemistry knowledge and have a good attention to detail.
  • You have strong networking skills and the ability to communicate in a connecting way with others in the business.
  • You are proactive and have good problemsolving skills.
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK (Manchester).
