Junior Business Controller

For one of our client, we are currently looking for a Business Controller.
Our client is a well-known company active in the Textile sector, they are based in-Waterloo.
Your main responsibilities will be the following:
- Prepare financial and KPI reports for Management and key stakeholders.
- Perform month end closing checks in collaboration with Business Controlling Manager & Accounting team.
- Prepare monthly closing submissions into the Group's consolidation system with a full reconciliation.
- Provide financial and sales & operations analysis/support of different aspects of the business to Management and the Group.
- Prepare and analyse weekly, monthly etcbusiness & financial reports, addressing variances and proposing corrective measures.
- Support the local Management and heads of functions in better understanding the costs and their monthly results to support them achieving their targets.
- Take active part in the longrange planning and forecasting/outlooks processes.
- Participate in defining/improving standards for Management and Group reporting.
- Maintain and develop system requirements for business financial and sales/operations reporting.
- Support in performing periodic benchmarking to provide input on competitive landscape, strategy, and target setting, leveraging insight and best practices.

The qualifications for this position are the following:
- graduated from an Economical/financial Master or a first experience of 1 to 2 years.
experience in a similar function, preferably in a retail and/or international environment. - Good Accounting fundamentals.
University degree in Applied Economics, Finance or Business Administration.
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
Flexible, and able to manage time to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work with complex business models and
significant data volumes. - Advanced MS Office Excel skills required (incl.
Power BI &/or Power Query highly desirable). - Knowledge of MS Office Access and Sage ERP X3 are considered as a plus.
Fluent in English - other language skills (e.g., French, Italian or German) welcome.
