APCO Worldwide established and growing office in Brussels is always looking for ambitious and talented individuals to join its junior team as project Consultant/Associate Consultant, working in one of the top EU Affairs consulting firms.


We work with most of the world's instantly recognisable brands, spanning healthcare, tech, financial services, space, sustainability, energy and mobility.

Ideally you will demonstrate interest and expertise in EU policy issues, Brussels developments, and macro business factors impacting clients.


The Project or Associate Consultant should thrive in a fast-moving and intellectually challenging environment where a commitment to delivering consistent excellence in client service is a strong motivating force.

They should demonstrate strong organizational capabilities, tactical ability and have strong written and oral communication skills.


The Project or Associate Consultant is involved in day-to-day support of client assignments by monitoring institutional developments and/or media, conducting and analysing research on a variety of client-related issues or on business development efforts and by drafting materials for clients for both internal and external use.


Project/Associate Consultants are responsible for coordinating client meetings/events, delegating tasks to junior team members where appropriate and working on client deliverables under the supervision of a more senior team member.


Qualifications & Desired Skills:

  • Degree and/or postgraduate degree in any related field to the role.
  • Ideally a minimum of 25 years prior relevant work experience in consultancy, inhouse, European institutions, or within associations.
  • Experience working on policy issues impacting specific sectors (health, tech, sustainability, energy, mobility, space, financial services, geopolitics) a strong plus
  • Fluency in English (speaking and writing), excellent command of another EU Member State's language desirable
  • Excellent communication & writing skills
  • Good team player, proactive "solutionoriented" attitude.
  • Computer Skills: MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong understanding of EU institutions and decisionmaking procedures
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and perform under tight deadlines
  • Eligible to work in the EU
