Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Visualization:Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Develop visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI.

Data Modeling:Design and implement efficient data models, defining relationships and optimizing data structures for performance.

Data Integration:Utilize Power Query to clean, transform, and integrate data from various sources into cohesive datasets.
-
DAX Programming:Create and implement custom calculations and measures using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).
-
Report and Dashboard Development:Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and design reports and dashboards that meet their needs. Select appropriate visualizations and arrange them effectively to convey insights.

Data Governance and Security:Implement data governance policies to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security. Set up role-based security to control access to sensitive information within Power BI reports.

Training and Support:Provide training to end-users on Power BI features and best practices. Offer ongoing support to address issues and enhance user proficiency.

Integration with Other Tools:Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Power BI with other tools and platforms, ensuring seamless data flow.

Stay Updated:Stay informed about the latest Power BI features, updates, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
  • Indepth knowledge of data analysis, visualization, and data modeling.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, and DAX programming.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with data governance and security practices.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.

Preferred Skills:

  • Microsoft Power BI Certification.
  • Experience with integration of Power BI with other Microsoft tools (Excel, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Familiarity with SQL and other datarelated technologies
