The role

• Innovate new ideas, track related research, develop new concepts and prototype ideas.
• Keep track of emerging and potentially promising technologies. Define relevancy through proof of concepts and reallife testing.
• Set up collaborations with third parties via partnerships, funded projects and bilateral contracts (academics, research institutes,).
• Together with the team you bring your ideas and concepts to the market (e.g. real products that create value).
• Be a focal point and technical lead from start to completion of development projects.
• Communicate technical innovations and project statuses through reports and regular presentations to our stakeholders and divisional management.
• Provide technical support to external and internal customers.

What we expect of you

• You have a technical education background (master's in physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics or related engineering field), a PhD is a plus.
• Experience in programming using different simulation environments (Matlab, Simulink,) and highlevel languages (Python, R,)
• Interest in control theory, signal processing, dynamics of complex systems, artificial intelligence and algorithm development.
• You are eager to develop a strong domain specific knowledge.
• You are passionate about the newest trends in embedded control systems, control algorithms, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• You have affinity for software development or are willing to learn.
• Analytical, problemsolving, curious, eager to learn

Your task will be to translate use cases described by our stakeholders into solid, future proof solutions and take responsibility of the complete development process.
