Function description:

  • You represent the interests of your customers in the Tribe & Squad which means you anticipate customers needs and market evolution.
  • You work together with the Squad and the stakeholders to build & prioritize a product backlog that you map into a roadmap and break down into user stories, respecting the agile principles
  • You ensure the prioritization of the backlog, adapting valuebased prioritization method, to cover build, run and maintenance needs
  • You clarify risks proactively and find solutions for impediments to your projects/backlog together with the stakeholders, the tribe members, and the squad members.
  • You actively participate in the different ceremonies of the Squad, such as the Sprint Planning, the Sprint Review, and the Refinements.
  • You are part of the Management Team and report to the Managing Director

Agile requirements:

  • An analyst involved in Agile projects must have the "Agile mindset" which implies:_
- _a positive attitude and pragmatism_
- _thirst for knowledge: Agile is about learning and adapting. Knowledge sharing is key to success._
- _The goal of team success: Agile is about the success of the team, no individual success or heroic behaviour. It is more important for the team to succeed than for the individual to have completed his/her tasks._
- _There is no failure, only feedback: Agile is about taking everything as lessons, adjusting actions based on the feedback, resulting in continuous improvement._

  • Beyond the roles: Agile teams are crossfunctional. All required disciplines are represented in the team (analysis, development, testing,). However, although team members have a primary role representing a discipline, they are expected to take on other roles and contribute to other disciplines whenever it helps towards reaching the sprint goal._

Language requirements:

- sound knowledge of English and at least one local language (FR/NL)

  • Knowledge of either French or Dutch (both is a strong plus)

Experience/skills:

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience
- experience as a Product Owner and/or Project Manager
- knowledge of SQL, HTML, Java scripts, Jasper soft, Camunda (preferable)

  • Structured, pragmatic and with good negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
