What will you be doing?

  • Supporting the External Contract Manufacturing (ECM) organization in execution resulting in business sustainability, growth and cost savings.
  • Partnering with contract manufacturers to ensure quality, delivery and cost meet or exceed Baxter's expectations.
  • Serving as liaison between Company and External Contract Manufacturer network.
  • Providing oversight to the manufacturing, quality and development of products performed at ECM's.
  • Managing contracts to ensure delivery on company expectations, and meeting budget targets, cost savings and capacity management.
  • Partnering with Procurement and Supply Chain functions to ensure continuity of product supply and with Quality Assurance to support/perform supplier audits, quality investigations, and nonconformance analysis by providing appropriate product/process expertise.
  • Monitoring key ECM operating mechanisms and being responsible for ECM metrics for scorecard/dashboard.
  • Coordinating communication between all applicable internal and external functions/organizations regarding ECM operations.
  • Analyzing actual to budget cost variances, identifying root cause, and driving cost improvement.
  • Managing issues to ensure efficient and effective resolution.
  • Leading performance business reviews with suppliers/contracting organizations.
  • Supporting Due Diligence evaluations of potential Business Development Target organizations.

Who are we looking for?

  • An expert with 5+ years of Medical Device / Pharmaceutical / Biologics industry experience working with Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Quality holding bachelor's degree.
  • Professional with technical skills appropriate to the assigned ECM Category, including cGMPRegulations and Regulatory Affairs, Quality Control and Assurance, and Operations.
  • Cross functional team leader able to work and influence across business units and functions, multisite, multi
- cultural with proven ability to hold others accountable.

  • An individual able to develop and manage partnerships, drive and sustain transformational change with management level presentation skills.
  • Person who demonstrates ability to execute complex plans on time and on budget, able to think strategically and to provide clear direction to others having superior analytical, organization, and project management skills
  • Fluent English is a must.
  • Strong financial and production acumen preferred.
