  • Responsibilities


You are responsible for the complete business development cycle; you identify prospects within the specific industries and turn them into customers using marketing and lead generation tools.


Also really important:


Beyond the initial sale, you continue to improve customer satisfaction, revenue and profit of your accounts, supported by your accountant management, operations and finance colleagues.


  • Acquire indepth knowledge of the targeted customers and industries
  • Identify prospects within target industries using a multitude of channels
- o Lead generation tools
- o Website referrals
- o Tradeshows
- o PR opportunities
- o Industry Associations

  • Prioritize targets within the selected industries
  • Work with marketing to create targeted marketing campaigns
  • Identify specific prospect opportunities
  • Build high level relationships built on mutual respect
  • Work with the customer and with the company ́s SME's to design, document and propose bestinclass products and services
  • Close the deal, working with various customer decision makers
  • Continuously reinvent & improve the services and products we provide
  • Move mature accounts into the account management organization
  • You're working area is Belgium, France, Germany, UK and Sweden
  • The office for Belgium is based in Antwerp
  • You are reporting to the chief business development officer in Antwerp

Qualifications

  • Master degree in business, marketing or related field or equivalent through experience
  • Minimum five years of sales experience in a businessto business solution sales environment
  • Minimum three years of Solutions Sales experience in at least one of the following Industries:
  • Agriculture
  • Heavy Machinery
  • Machinery (production)
  • Aerospace
  • Mass Transportation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch
  • Proficiency in French, German and/or any other language is a plus

You are/have:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience interacting with both business and technical individuals at all levels in a prospect organization
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
  • Indepth knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence
  • Highlevel understanding of software solutions and their development
  • Creative approach to problemsolving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the "big picture" view
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
