Proximus Group consists of the mother company Proximus SA and a growing network of subsidiary companies in the telecom and IT sectors, active in the Benelux and various other countries.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you are engaged in a motivated team that improves the security of our customer businesses. You will use your knowledge and experience of Microsoft solutions and best practices.
You are the lead to (gradually) drive adoption of the Microsoft ecosystem with our customers by defining organizational and technical policies, processes and controls.
You create designs/architectures which help the customer to adopt these new technologies and help to meet business requirements. You are capable to defend the designs to customers. You follow-up on the implementation of the proposed changes and assist in potential issues. You are the bridge between technical and non-technical audiences, as you communicate frequently with all stakeholders.
You will be responsible for:
- You create technical designs in M36
- Drive adoption of the Microsoft solutions
- Enable communication and collaboration platforms (Teams, Exchange online, Sharepoint _
- Security best practices
- Indentity and Access management in (A)AD.
- Hybrid environments (AD, Sharepoint, Exchange)
- Research, development, writing and editing IT governance frameworks
- You have experience with best practices and can propose standards, processes and procedures.
- Support and guide architecture decisions with technical and nontechnical groups
- Assist in the creation of adoption roadmaps for M365 deployments
- Assist in the creation of modern work architecture roadmaps to transit from an AS IS to the proposed architecture.
- You perform risk analyses to provide the people in charge of precious insights. You are therefore responsible for overseeing and conducting risk management activities (risk assessment, gap analysis, business impact analysis, etc.)
- Conduct M365 assessments / Workshops
- Develop recommendations for remediating potential issues
- Capable to present technical matters to management.
- You are an excellent communicator
- You listen to customers and understand their needs quickly
- You have affinity with digital transformations.
- You have broad experience as a Microsoft engineer and/or cloud architect
- Taking leadership and responsibility in digital transformation projects is key
- You are ever willing to learn and become a better consultant, technically and personally.
- You are ambitious and have a passion for IT
- You are analytical, structured, and responsible
- Being able to work both in team and independent context

- Operating System knowledge (Linux/windowsm iOS and Android)
- Endpoint security
- Microsoft assessments and workshops,
- Hybrid environments
- Microsoft baselines definition/enforcement
Some certifications are a plus:
- Microsoft Identity Administrator (SC300),
- Microsoft Messaging administrator (MS203)
- Microsoft Information Protection Administrator (SC400)
- Microsoft 365 security administrator (MS500)
- Microsoft Enterprise Administrator
- Microsoft MS300 Teamwork Admin Associate
