This role is an exciting opportunity to shape the Brands future in the digital marketplace.

The role carries responsibility in achieving key strategic goals and reports directly into the Senior Digital Strategic Account Manager - Packs EMEA.

Let's talk about the role


You as Digital Strategic Account Manager will be the account key responsible for all sales activities at AMAZON, for all PACKS brands (Kipling, Eastpak and JanSport).

The primary goal is to ensure the daily management of Amazon the account as well all seasonal and yearly quantitative and qualitative objectives are met and aligned to the overall EMEA/country strategy.

How You Will Make a Difference

You will achieve this by:

  • Develop and build strong strategic partnerships with our digital strategic accounts, focussed on AMAZON
  • Act as the main goto person for all external communication with AMAZON supported by the Senior Digital Strategic Account Manager
  • Codevelop and execute the 5 yr strategy plan with AMAZON and ensure all needs are covered to achieve short/mid and longterm goals
  • Manage the planning & allocation to ensure customer's needs are met. Drive the S&OP calls with customer to act as a bridge builder between the AMAZONs needs and our stockcontracts. Process contracts cleaning every month to ensure our contracts are clean and inline with customer's demand.
  • Work with marketing team and the customer's advertising team to activate the brand strategy. Support the marketing team when installing the campaigns on the portal
  • Ensure a proper establishment of the 3 brands online in close cooperation with the online merchandiser ( PDP, A+pages, Vine,)
  • Set up deals and monitor the funding budget in close contact with Senior Digital Strategic Account Manager
  • Measure & track success through KPI with aligned scorecards, adjusting strategies and actions based on the brand's performances. Weekly follow up of the reorders, new projects, deals,during catch up calls with Vendor manager
  • Manage and report on the performance of the assortment, working closely with a crossfunctional Merch team dedicated to Digital WHL & DTC Accounts
  • Build reports for all digital key accounts ( forecasting, weekly sales ) to ensure 1 aligned dashboard for the team
Skills for Success- You are analytical and curious with a make-it-happen mentality- You're a strong communicator and long and profound negotiations don't scare you, they rather give you energy- You are a strategic storyteller, experienced in the identification of value creation opportunities using data provided by the customer but as well using our own reports- You have a deep understanding of Microsoft Excel and you create your own reports from scratch without any issue- You love guiding clients through collections and helping them make the right choices to develop growth for both parties- You are digital-savvy and interested in digital platforms in general but specifically when it comes to fashion and accessories- You know the world of fashion and its specific challenges when it comes to planning and stock management and are equipped with the right skills to win over others both internal as external


We are looking for someone with a rather analytical background who is looking to broaden his/her experience to a more commercial role.

4-6 years of experience in a strategic key account role is definitely an advantage, however, a past experience in finance or planning (with a clear interest in a more commercial role ) is also possible.
