Automation Specialist and drive technological excellence

What You'll Do:

  • Engineering and implementing automation projects: Design and execute capex/MOC automation projects, contributing to the modernization of the factory.
  • Drawing up and implementing programming and automation standards: Establish and enforce programming and automation standards and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) within the Kapelle op den Bos (KOB) site.
  • Project management of automation projects: Lead automation projects as individual initiatives or as subprojects within larger projects, ensuring successful execution.
  • Safety programming for machines (TIA/PILZ): Ensure safety programming compliance for machines, specifically using TIA (Totally Integrated Automation) and PILZ standards.
  • Participate in the implementation of data capture and industry 4.

Contribute to the integration of data capture systems and Industry 4.0 technologies in the factory's operations.

  • Supporting and advising various departments: Provide technical support and advice to maintenance, operations, process technologists, and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) teams in matters related to technology and automation.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in an electrical or automation field, or equivalent through experience.
  • Passion for automation.
  • Necessary experience and affinity with automation software such as the Siemens, TIA portal, S7 manager, profinet, Schneider PL7, scada Magelis, Pilz, Fanuc.
  • Experience with drive controls/servo controls SEW, Schneider.
  • Continuous improvement approach.
  • Analytical mind and practical skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Network IT/OT.
