Position Overview

Join our innovative team as a Senior Software Engineer and play a crucial role in developing state-of-the-art software systems and tools. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving the quality of life for individuals with hearing impairments, utilizing our Device Middleware Platform.

Your Impact:

- **Craft Exceptional Software:** Adopt an Agile approach to develop high-quality, user-centric software solutions within the medical device industry.

- **Empower Lives:** Utilize your skills to create products that provide long-term support to individuals facing hearing challenges.

- **Innovate Across Platforms:** Develop robust libraries in modern C++ for cross-platform applications, primarily on Windows, and design intuitive APIs for client software.

- **Enhance User Experience:** Create and implement user-friendly GUI applications in C# .NET/WPF to facilitate clinical research.

- **Ensure Excellence:** Design and carry out comprehensive unit and integration tests for software components.

- **Collaborate and Share:** Flourish in our collaborative environment, exchange ideas, and be open to team feedback.

- **Translate Needs into Software:** Collaborate closely with different departments to grasp user and business requirements, transforming them into outstanding software solutions.

- **Provide Expert Support:** Deliver technical assistance and troubleshoot effectively to resolve customer issues.

- **Drive Continuous Improvement:** Participate in quality procedures, recommend enhancements, and provide top-notch products and services.

Accountabilities:

- **Software Development:** Take ownership of your projects, conduct peer reviews, implement requirements, test components, and maintain technical documentation within specified timelines.

- **Quality Assurance:** Adhere to internal processes, document thoroughly, and engage in verification and technical reviews to ensure high-quality results.

- **Team Collaboration:** Communicate efficiently, share knowledge, contribute to team achievements, and engage in team activities.

- **Personal Growth:** Keep up to date with technological advancements in software engineering and the audiological sector, participate in professional growth opportunities, and contribute to new technologies.

- **Development Value:** As a software design expert and mentor, you will guide junior team members and play a significant role in the team's accomplishments.

Key Requirements:

- **Essential:** A Master's degree in software engineering (or equivalent) with over 5 years of experience in commercial software development, proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14), and fluency in spoken and written English.

- **Desirable:** Familiarity with Agile environments and hardware integration.

- **Ideal:** Extensive expertise in C++20, proficiency in C# .NET (WPF) for Windows desktop applications, experience in managing web services/cloud, medical device software design, and a strong interest in medical device development and quality regulations.
