Join our vibrant team as a Junior Java Software Engineer, where you'll be at the forefront of ingesting diverse data domains into cutting-edge NoSQL datastores and Elasticsearch using Apache Kafka and Apache Flink. Responsibilities:
Dive into the world of stream processing by actively contributing to the design and development of real-time data ingestion pipelines using Java, Apache Kafka, and Apache Flink. Collaborate closely with diverse teams to comprehend evolving data requirements and pioneer scalable solutions in the realm of stream processing. Optimize and fine-tune our transition from batch to stream processing, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability enhancements. Actively engage in troubleshooting, ensuring seamless error handling for uninterrupted stream processing operations. Contribute to comprehensive testing and validation of real-time data pipelines, ensuring high data integrity.Requirements:
A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in Java programming or a strong willingness to rapidly develop Java skills. An eagerness to explore and work with cutting-edge technologies like Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), and Elasticsearch. Strong knowledge of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices. Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a hunger for learning in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git). Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Enthusiasm for tackling large-scale data challenges and a desire to grow within the field.Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity or interest in cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Basic understanding or exposure to containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
