Credit Risk Manager

Als Credit Risk Manager bekijk je de portefeuilles vanuit de recente economische en maatschappelijke evoluties (Covid, klimaatimpact, energieprijzen, inflatie, ...) en vanuit verschillende dimensies (sector, entiteit, business line, product, ...) om zowel te komen tot historische analyses als tot het voorspellen van forward-looking evoluties. Op basis hiervan worden voorstellen geformuleerd aan het management om het risicoprofiel van de portefeuilles te oriënteren, de risicokost te beheersen en de kredietpolitiek van de bank aan te sturen.
De job in een notendop
Je levert een actieve en sturende bijdrage aan strategische analyses en presentaties voor het senior management, o.a. Risk Committees, Directiecomité en Raad van Bestuur, en externe stakeholders zoals de ECB/NBB en de revisoren. Deze omvatten o.a. het quarterly risk report, sectoriële analyses en de evolutie van de verschillende credit risk parameters (ratingkwaliteit, early warnings, non-performing volumes, ...)

Het werken met data en het meedenken op welke manier nieuwe data onze analyses verder kunnen verdiepen.
Credit Portfolio Management om risicoconcentraties in de kredietportefeuille te beheren. Je amuseert je met het toepassen van verschillende technieken zoals indekking, risk-sharing, effectisering of outright sale samen met de specialisten ter zake.
De real estate markt zowel onder de vorm van hypothecaire kredieten als de financiering van grote en kleine commercial real estate investeringsprojecten. Je houdt er van continu te volgen hoe deze kredietportefeuille evolueert, wat de markttendenzen zijn en je kan excelleren in gerichte analyses obv steeds breder beschikbare data die van strategisch belang zijn in het kader van onze risk appetite.
De budgettaire situatie van onze publieke financiën (o.m. door de impact van de opeenvolgende crisissen en de toekomstige uitdagingen zoals ESG). Met de nodige macro-economische kennis en de nodige creativiteit om verschillende scenarios om te zetten in concrete conclusies en actiepunten, wil je mee bijdragen aan onze maatschappelijke rol.

universitaire opleiding, bij voorkeur met een economische, financiële specialisatie
analytische geest met creatief talent om complexe onderwerpen bevattelijk voor te stellen

nieuwsgierig naar nieuwe tendenzen, evoluties en mogelijke synergiën
een behoorlijk kennis van het Nederlands, Frans en Engels

met een basiservaring met credit riskconcepten en bereid om deze uit te diepen waar nuttig in het uitoefenen van de functie
als bruggenbouwer met overtuigingskracht en goede communicatieve vaardigheden (mondeling en schriftelijk)
met een ervaring met data-exploitatietechnieken (SQL, Business Objects, Python, AI) of bereidheid om die te leren
