The SAP Specialist plays a crucial role as the main contact for SAP technologies within the company, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth operations. This position requires a business-oriented professional to champion user requirements and take necessary actions for planning and support. Key responsibilities include:

  • Business System Support:
  • Acting as a super-user and system expert for SAP (ERP), particularly focusing on S4Hana and Coupa modules (80% of projects related to finance)
  • Understanding the architecture and process flows of ERP, Process Control, and related manufacturing systems
  • Monitoring system health and stability
  • Troubleshooting and addressing system issues, outages, and functional needs, involving support partners as required
  • Supporting business users as a subject matter expert on current and proposed system functionality
  • Leading as a program manager and project stakeholder for system upgrades and enhancements
  • End User Support:
  • Acting as the initial responder for user desktop issues (hardware and software), collaborating with the help desk and support partners when necessary
  • Handling requests for purchases
  • Anticipating and meeting user needs, providing suitable recommendations for enhancements
  • Infrastructure, Process, and Policy:
  • Guiding users on IT Policy, Process, and Systems
  • Assisting business leadership in strategic planning and project oversight
  • Coordinating site activities for upgrades and system maintenance
  • Making suggestions for enhancements to improve system functionality, capabilities, and stability
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or engineering
  • Proven capability to work across functional and regional boundaries, challenge the status quo, and manage multiple projects simultaneously within set deadlines and budget
  • Fluency in English with strong communication and change management skills
  • 3-8 years of IT experience in a global organization
  • Diverse skills including configuration and expertise in SAP Coupa and S4Hana
