**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
**Essential Qualifications/Experience: - Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 1 years post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 3 years post-related experience

  • 1+ year of progressively detailed experience in information support functions including information lifecycle best practices, in particular those pertaining to organization, accessibility, transmission, storage and protection
  • Good knowledge and experience of international best practices and standards in the field of information management and be familiar with the lifecycle management of records
  • Experience in managing classified and accountable Information/material

DUTIES/ROLE:

  • Perform maintenance of NCIA electronic document management system: inputs, categorises and indexes electronic documents, scans paper documents as required, and performs searches as required
  • Performing inventory checks of classified material mandated by NATO regulations
  • Assist in maintenance of NCIA NATO Secret (NS) database including: new entries, loans, and corrections as required. Controls and implements amendments and changes to reports, with particular reference to classified material
  • Performing and preparing reports for destruction, taking part in the destruction of documents and all information carriers, obtain report material on loan from other organizations
  • Perform any other duties as may be required
