About the Role

NannyML is seeking a Senior Full-stack Engineer (Python) to enhance and broaden their Open Source and Cloud Products. The role involves collaborating with key team members such as the CTO, CPO, Data Engineer/Architect, and Data Scientists. Responsibilities include overseeing the implementation of various NannyML Cloud features and sharing full-stack expertise with the rest of the engineering team.

As the company expands, there is an opportunity for the successful candidate to grow into a leadership position within the engineering team.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Research teams to introduce new features to NannyML Cloud.
  • Scale NannyML Cloud for 100 TB datasets.
  • Enhance the robustness, responsiveness, and user experience of NannyML Cloud.
  • Contribute directly to the open-source library by implementing new ML Monitoring features and algorithms.
  • Develop internal tools to facilitate research and product development.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in building data/ML products or cloud-based software.
  • Solid expertise in React and Tailwind CSS.
  • Proficiency in Python for backend development, ideally with FastAPI and SQLAlchemy.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in full-stack engineering roles.
  • Excellent communication skills in English - both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts.
  • Proactive, independent, and willing to propose innovative ideas.
  • Immediate availability to start working.
  • Located in Belgium or willing to relocate immediately with work authorization.
  • Passion for Machine Learning and Data Science.
Nice to Haves
  • Previous experience in a Machine Learning company.
  • Basic knowledge of Python Data Science stack, including pandas and Scikit Learn.
  • Experience in data visualization for web applications.
  • Knowledge of 'big data' processing with Spark, Dask, or Ray.
  • Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Experience with data lakes such as Delta Lake, Iceberg, Trino, etc.
  • Knowledge of GitOps and/or MLOps.
