Business Controller F/M

Part of a team of Controllers, the Business Controller will be actively involved in the following missions:
- Participate in the monthly financial closing,
- Analysis on correctness and completeness of monthly figures, for the region and for the various businesses,
- Ensure compliance with local and Group accounting standards,
- Reporting to and communicating with the Group reporting departments,
- Responsible for the analysis and control of the Balance sheet and P&L,
- Analyze financial data to provide insights into business performance, identifying trends, and forecasting future financial outcomes,
- Collaborate with various departments to develop annual budgets and other financial plans,
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial results against budgeted and forecasted figures, investigating and explaining any discrepancies,
- Participate as a Business Partner in strategic planning processes, providing financial analysis and guidance,
- Evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial analysis for decision making,
- Challenging departments on budget, forecast and financial analysis on defined KPI's. Provide recommendations for improving performance,
- Process optimization and controlling the financial aspect of business processes,
- Continuously review processes and controls to identify opportunities for improvement,
- Advice on and implement best practices and internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with policies and regulations,
- Participating in different project teams and in internal and external audits, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions.
Profile:
- Previous experience: 8 to 10 years' experience in Controlling, a first experience in a Big4 is highly valued
- Languages: Trilingual, Dutch, French & English
- Strong knowledge of Excel and SAP
