Job Purpose

Leadership, Governance & Culture

  • Prepare and actively participate in the EHS Council MPU. Ensure the collection of data for your area of responsibility (specific RACI / MPU)
  • Carry out indepth analyses (trends and others) on problematic topics or areas to be improved with the associated perspective and propose action plans.

Culture:

  • Actively contribute to the EHS Culture of the MPU through coaching and field presence and participation in operational TIERs
  • Constructive feedback on observations made in the field, to staff and to the hierarchy
  • Leader of continuous improvement projects in his/her area of responsibility (EHS aspects)

EHS Control Framework

  • Carry out the implementation of the actions of the AAP (or GPS Master Plan) under his/her responsibility and be active in the followup of actions for his/her area of responsibility

Ressource, Training & Capabilities

  • Actively participate in the monitoring of training status and give EHS trainings according to specific RACI /MPU

Risk assessment & Management

  • Risk Universe: Coordinate and document the monitoring of the risk universe, the planning of risk analyses and the respect of deadlines as well as the resulting actions
  • AdR Worplace: Review of all risk analyses (all) and validation for nonSIF activities and associated activity sheets (+ role of Risk assessor)
  • SFRA review and validation and specific operating procedure for nonSIF activities
  • Risk Register and

HSR:
Actively participate in the monitoring of High Severity Risk and EHS Risks in connection with his/her area of responsibility (RACI spec. MPU) - SPOC of 1 or more risks

  • SIF Activities: Be able to explain and give guidance on the hierarchies of SIF control barriers (included in bowties)

Investigation & Reporting

SD:

  • Carry out SD oversight. Specifically, ensure the special followup, mitigation and closure of SDs.
  • Provide coaching to EHS technicians on the SD process

EHS Events:

  • Independently carry out investigations and closure of minor EHS events
:

CAPA EHS:

  • Participate in the CAPA committee (CRB or others) as an EHS Compliance authority for minor CAPAs
  • Carry out the closure of the CAPA EHS Minor in autonomy.

Performance Monitoring & Audit

Weekly Performance Review:

  • Prepare and lead the weekly governance

L1 Audit:

  • Carry out the L1 audit universe proposal at the end of the previous year.
  • Follow up on the L1 Audit universe (ensuring optimal control of SSoW and SIF activities).
  • Validate L1 audit reports (according to MPUspecific RACI)

L2 Audit:

  • Preparation of L2 audits whose scope is related to its specific responsibilities (SPOC and/or zone)

L3 & L4 Audit:

  • Actively participate in the preparation of audits, data collection, documentary evidence, preparation gembas, be fronters for certain topics (to be defined / person)

EHS Design and Change Control

Change management / EHS impacts:

Carry out assessments, review and approval of specific eCCs - in agreement with the EHS Manager (criticity)

MO Clinic :

Participate in the MO Clinic of his/her area of responsibility and be the EHS authority (on areas of his responsibility - EHS Manager if SIF activities)

3 green lights - Commissionning:

  • Validation of the 3 green lights for category 3 equipment (Work equipment) and mobile equipment.
  • Preparation and coaching of Checklist "3 green lights" to be completed by the business.
  • RCM (MBF) : Participation in the establishment of RCMs and their validation

Calibration committee:

  • Participation in the establishment of calibration plans and validation of these plans

  • Be proactive in monitoring your tasks and be able to report relevant information to your EHS Manager.
  • Coach EHS technicians on technical and organizational topics
  • Actively participate in operational TIER and EHS TIER and influence discussions from an EHS perspective
