Symeta Hybrid NV is an autonomous division within the Colruyt Group and is specialized in digital transformation, creating data, document and multi-channel communication solutions, both for brands within the Group and for the external market.
Outcomes include printed communications for Direct Marketing campaigns, as well as the digital and omni-channel production of B2B2C transactional communications for banks, social secretariats and hospitals.
To support the team Symeta Hybrid is now looking for a Buyer who will handle Direct Procurement, CAPEX and Indirect Procurement.
Function description
As a Buyer specializing in both direct and indirect procurement, your primary responsibility is to source, negotiate, and purchase goods and services required by the organization.
Your role encompasses both direct procurement (goods used in production) and indirect procurement (goods and services used to support operations) as well as CAPEX procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Strategy Development: Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop procurement strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Supplier Selection and Evaluation.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements. Prepare and execute contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
- Generate and manage purchase orders in accordance with approved procurement procedures.
- Foster positive relationships with key suppliers. Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and provide feedback for improvement.
- Analyze procurement costs and trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
- Identify and mitigate procurement risks such as supply disruptions, quality issues, and compliance breaches.
Job requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent by experience.
Minimum 5 years proven experience as a Buyer, preferably with exposure to both direct and indirect procurement as well as CAPEX procurement.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make informed decisions.
Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Professional level of Dutch, French and English, both oral and written.
Offer
Longer term Interim Management assignment for which you can invoice through your management company.
Remote work is possible 1-2 days per week.
