Why do we need you?
At Protealis we want to provide farmers with the best genetics and growing advice for protein crops.

As we intensify and geographically expand our efforts, integrate novel technologies, add additional protein crops to our portfolio and start sales, we are looking for an additional agronomist to help us realize our ambitious growth strategy.

What do we need you to do?

• You design, plan, coordinate, execute, monitor and steer the different testing and production trials together with the other agronomists as a team
• You develop the growing manual for Protealis' varieties with the objective of making the most of the variety's potential for farmers, multipliers and processors adapted to specific environmental, agronomical, and economical circumstances in the countries of focus in North Europe (zone above Paris)
• You develop relationships with customers, institutes, trialing organizations and farmers, with the objective to have a reliable network for trialing and getting input/feedback on market developments
• You present and discuss conclusions of the trials on variety and new seed tech products to the breeding, microbiology, production

- and salesteam

• You inform management, R&D and sales team on needs, opportunities and new technologies in the market with the objective of steering and prioritizing the breeding

- and trialprograms to the market realities

• Provide agronomical/technical support and crop

- and varietal training to the sales
- and production team and to customers

What experience are we seeking?

• You are educated as master in a relevant field and have at least 5 years of experience in field crop farming, agronomy and field trials.
• You have basic understanding of plant breeding, plant physiology and general crop husbandry. Previous exposure to seed sales and/or product registration is a strong plus.
• You are proficient in English and have a good knowledge of French. German is a plus.
