What's the scope?


Working for the Kontoor Brands means being part of two heritage brands that has delivered authentic denim & workwear innovation since 1889 Lee and 1947 Wrangler.

As a Sales Representative you are a true ambassador of the brands.

You will work as part of a Country Sales Field team in a Key Market and you will be cover a district in Belgium to drive sales growth and positively promote the perception of both brands.

You meet or exceed sales targets and objectives assigned to your area.

You will use company tools to evaluate new account opportunities to grow the brand in line with current strategy and maximize both visibility and accessibility to make Kontoor Brands the company of choice of Denim.

You visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services. You give sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.

Your responsibilities as our Sales Representative Belgium will be to:

  • Develop and execute mid and long-term sales plans for Belgium, cascaded down from EMEA's road maps and business plans. This with a huge Customer focus.
  • Determine and drive Regional Sales accounts objectives and targets in agreement with Field Sales manager and in accordance with Benelux & EMEA Annual Growth Plans.
  • Closely monitor account credit status and work with accounts, Credit Control and Customer Service to minimize outstanding debt and Creditheld orders
  • Liaise, cooperate and coordinate, specifically within the following departments; Customer Service, Credit, Marketing/Merchandising and Operations/Planning
  • Through regular field visits, to develop a working relationship with (local) field accounts. Attend meetings and identify and execute against business needs and incremental opportunities.
  • Drive the consumer Brand experience within the key Regional Accounts through owning the development of in store Brand presentation together with Regional VM team.
  • Provide weekly reporting and regular feedback to your manager covering the marketplace, competitor activity and product development.

Skills for Success:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree, Master would be an advantage
  • Language: fluency in English and French is a must. Dutch is a plus.
  • 3 5y Experience: successful territory account experience, within a target driven fashion / denim, lifestyle or sport brand.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft suite, including a good Excel level)
  • Full driving license
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics within a wholesale environment
  • Customer focus and goal oriented, who turns targets into actions and is persistent to go beyond.
  • Strong relationship and negotiation skills
  • Selfstarter who can work independently and in teams
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast paced environment.
  • Turns deadlines into a healthy pressure to perform
  • Ability to work at a strategic account management level, internal and external
